Multi-room streaming from the LED light: Sengled presents Pulse Flex for IFA 2015
Smart lighting specialist Sengled unveil new products at the trade show including multiroom streaming with a JBL speaker and stylish lamps
Düsseldorf, 26 August 2015. Sengled, a leading manufacturer of innovative smart lighting solutions for the smart home, presents its multi-room streaming and lighting system Pulse Flex at the International Consumer Electronics Fair IFA (Berlin, 4 to 9 September 2015). Incorporating powerful JBL® speakers, the LED lights can be integrated into the home network by WLAN enabling different lighting and playback settings for specific zones within the house using the dedicated app (iOS™ and Android™). Users can easily access personal music libraries, streaming services or internet radio stations from their mobile device and play the audio content through the LED lights. Located at exhibition stand (Hall 4.2, Stand 205), the company will also be unveiling its coordinating lamp shade Horn, which complements the innovative design of the Sengled Pulse Flex.
The Sengled Pulse Flex is a multi-room audio system in the form of an LED light with quality audio playback provided by the integrated speaker from audio specialist JBL. The lights are splash proof thanks to the IP54 standard so can even be installed in the bathroom or on a patio. Once screwed into the E27 or B22 socket, it is very easy to combine up to six lights per room or per zone so that the lighting and audio settings can then be individually defined for each room or zone. The Sengled Pulse Flex offers flexibility allowing multiple users to play audio content from different sources.
WLAN interface brings flexibility
Sengled Pulse Flex works with the WLAN interface and enables the audio LEDs to be integrated into the existing home network easily and wirelessly. In addition, the company supports the network standards DLNA® and AirPlay®, which enables seamless interaction with lots of existing media. For example, personal music collections on Android or iOS mobile devices can be played or media servers can be connected. Thanks to the direct link to the home network, the Sengled Pulse Flex also works with popular streaming services and enables access to countless internet radio stations. Music services such as Spotify, Deezer or Qubuz not only bring the whole world of music to your home, but now for the first time are also available via the lighting system in any room of the home.
Comfortable control via the new Pulse app
The Pulse Flex can easily be controlled and specific lighting and playback settings can be established with the new Sengled Pulse app. This means that new zones can be set up or modified in next to no time, and both audio and lighting settings can be individually controlled for each zone. The app is available free of charge for iOS and Android devices.
From LED bulb to the complete designer lamp: Pulse Horn
As well as new LED products, Sengled will also be unveiling its first lampshade Sengled Horn at IFA. Following the innovative design of the LED light Sengled Pulse Flex, the complementary modern art design is made from brushed aluminium and blends harmoniously into modern living environments.Besides the Sengled Pulse Flex and Pulse Horn, Sengled will also be showcasing a series of other new smart lighting products at its IFA Stand 205 in Hall 4.2.
